Skrining Komposisi Tubuh: Langkah Awal Cegah Risiko Kesehatan pada Laki-Laki dan Wanita Usia Produktif

Komposisi tubuh merupakan indikator kesehatan yang penting, yang mencakup lemak dan massa otot. Hal ini berperan penting dalam menentukan risiko gangguan metabolik dan degeneratif. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan di Kelurahan Tanjung Duren Selatan, Jakarta Barat, dengan skrining komposisi tubuh pada 107 peserta usia produktif menggunakan metode Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA). Pengukuran meliputi persentase lemak tubuh total, lemak viseral, lemak subkutan, serta massa otot rangka. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas peserta memiliki kadar lemak tubuh sangat tinggi (53,27%) dan sebagian besar (71,96%) memiliki massa otot rangka rendah, mengindikasikan risiko tinggi terhadap gangguan metabolik. Edukasi mengenai pentingnya menjaga keseimbangan komposisi tubuh dan anjuran pemeriksaan lebih lanjut diberikan kepada peserta. Kegiatan ini menegaskan pentingnya deteksi dini perubahan komposisi tubuh sebagai langkah preventif dalam meningkatkan kualitas kesehatan masyarakat usia produktif.
