Abstract

Hipertensi merupakan penyebab utama morbiditas dan mortalitas global, dengan prevalensi yang terus meningkat di negara berpenghasilan menengah seperti Indonesia. Keterbatasan akses pemeriksaan tekanan darah terstandar di komunitas adat menyebabkan banyak kasus tidak terdeteksi hingga timbul komplikasi serius. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan mendeteksi dini hipertensi melalui pengukuran tekanan darah dan status hidrasi kulitdi Kabupaten Lebak sebagai bagian dari strategi promotif–preventif berbasis komunitas. Sebanyak 69 responden dewasa (71% perempuan; rerata usia 37,06 ± 14,74 tahun) menjalani pemeriksaan tekanan darah dan analisis hidrasi kulit menggunakan skin analyzer portabel. Hasil menunjukkan 23,2% responden memiliki tekanan darah normal, 46,4% prehipertensi, dan 30,4% hipertensi. Mayoritas peserta (≥75%) menunjukkan kadar hidrasi kulit kategori moist (>46%). Temuan ini mengindikasikan tingginya proporsi individu dengan tekanan darah di atas normal pada usia produktif, meskipun status hidrasi kulit umumnya baik. Secara fisiologis, peningkatan tekanan darah berkorelasi dengan disfungsi endotel, aktivasi sistem renin–angiotensin–aldosteron, dan gangguan mikrosirkulasi yang juga dapat memengaruhi hidrasi kulit. Skrining tekanan darah yang terintegrasi dengan evaluasi hidrasi kulit memberikan pendekatan diagnostik sederhana dan relevan dalam menilai homeostasis kardiovaskular. Program ini menegaskan pentingnya intervensi edukatif mengenai pola makan rendah garam, aktivitas fisik teratur, dan pemenuhan hidrasi adekuat sebagai langkah pencegahan hipertensi berkelanjutan di komunitas tradisional.
