Optimalisasi Skrining Kesehatan Mental melalui DASS-42 pada Masyarakat Kabupaten Lebak sebagai Upaya Promotif dan Preventif

Gangguan kesehatan mental seperti depresi, ansietas, dan stres masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang sering tidak terdeteksi, terutama di komunitas dengan keterbatasan akses layanan medis formal seperti masyarakat di Kabupaten Lebak. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan skrining kesehatan mental melalui penggunaan Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scale-42 (DASS-42) sebagai alat deteksi dini yang sederhana, valid, dan mudah diimplementasikan. Program dilaksanakan pada 111 partisipan dewasa dengan pendekatan Plan–Do–Check–Action (PDCA), mencakup pengisian instrumen DASS-42, edukasi kesehatan mental, serta konseling individual bagi peserta berisiko. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas partisipan berada pada kategori normal untuk stres (96,4%), ansietas (90,1%), dan depresi (74,7%), dengan proporsi kecil mengalami gejala ringan hingga sedang. Perempuan lebih sering melaporkan gejala emosional dibanding laki-laki, sementara peningkatan skor cenderung ditemukan pada kelompok usia paruh baya hingga lanjut. Implementasi skrining DASS-42, yang dipadukan dengan edukasi tentang manajemen stres, peningkatan resiliensi, dan gaya hidup sehat, terbukti meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya kesehatan mental. Program ini juga memperkuat peran kader dan tokoh adat dalam mendukung upaya promotif–preventif di tingkat komunitas. Dengan demikian, optimalisasi penggunaan DASS-42 dapat menjadi model intervensi berbasis komunitas yang efektif untuk deteksi dini, pencegahan gangguan emosional, dan peningkatan kualitas hidup masyarakat adat secara berkelanjutan.
